I have been riding at Capistrano Riding Club for over 3 years now. I came to the barn to finish out my last Junior Year of equitation and currently continue my Amateur career there. The instructors are like no other with their knowledge, patience, and emphasis on safety. To say it is a strong community is an understatement since the barn is truly a family. I have nothing but great things to say and I highly recommend the CRC to anyone who is looking to find their next perfect horse, improve their horsemanship and riding skills, or begin showing on a more distinguished level.

I have been training with Jennifer Meyer for over 25 years. From beautiful jumpers to top-notch hunters! It started with my amazing jumper, Simply Groovy which won Horse of the Year, to jumping up on fabulous, knowledgeable horses to now competing in the hunters. I found Jenny Meyer (now renamed Capistrano Riding Club) by accident 15 years ago and I haven’t looked back. CRC is a boutique training barn that is a best-kept secret. The quality of the training, the horses, the grooms, and the entire team is exceptional. We are small but mighty. We compete against the top barns in the country, and always get a piece of the win despite showing a fraction of the time compared to the big trainers. It is a wonderful barn family vibe, with the utmost care and dedication to the horses. Safety first is paramount. When I watch other trainers or visit other barns, I am often shocked by how much better our little organization is!! The attention to detail for the horse and the rider is top-notch. Jenny and the team focus on the basics using simple words to communicate, once you have a solid foundation on the horse, you can do anything. These concepts are often missed by trainers. Jenny took me from a beginner to the big eq and A/O hunters.
